As Seen on Twitter
(and Almost on TV)
1. Overview
- Back when I was in high school and college, live tweeting on Twitter (now X) was extremely popular. The official show accounts and actors would tweet during the show and retweet/respond to fans.
- Not only was it a great way to connect with other fans, it was also one of the fastest way to get more engagement on your account.
2. Goal
-
Live tweet during the show Ghost Adventures and try to get my tweets go semi viral within the community.
3. Strategy
-
While the new season of Ghost Adventures aired on TV, watch each episode live and pick out key moments from each episode to craft funny tweets.

4. Execution
-
As each episode aired, I would watch it live and try to post at least 3-7 times during the hour-long episode.
-
I knew I had to create tweets with a fast-turn around in order for them to stay relevant.
5. Results
- I got noticed multiple times from the official account and even Aaron Goodwin who stars in the show.
- A representative from the show even reached out to me, asking if I would like my tweets featured in their show Ghost Adventures: The Screening Room.
6. Learnings
-
I learned how to create content extremely fast that still connects with my audience.
