Implementing a Brand Rebrand Across Social Media

1. Overview

  • Brand: Manufacturing company in the bulk material handling industry.

  • My role: Marketing Coordinator. I created ads, newsletters, brochures, and handled all social media management.

2. Goal

  • Align social media with new branding and messaging and start maximizing output.

3. Strategy

  • With the rebrand also came a new blog and newsletter. I knew both would be a fantastic resource for content and would be a great way to share information to new customers.

Post Breakdown

I used brand colors and fonts throughout the post.

Repurposed content from blog post and picked out key topics.

There is a clear text hierarchy and the text/background have a high contrast, making it easier to read.

Used similar elements from the website such as the background and the icons.

4. Execution

  • I repurposed our existing content such as newsletter and blog posts and created bite-sized social media posts. I also reformatted posts from our Brazil subsidiary.

  • I made sure to align all posts with the new brand colors, fonts, and graphics.

5. Results

  • This increased our social media output, leading to an increase of followers by 56%.

6. Learnings

  • I realized that repurposing content strategically allows teams to scale social media output while maintaining a strong brand voice. It not only improves efficiency but also ensures each piece of content has multiple opportunities to connect with different segments of the audience.
